This 5-day safari begins with a flight from Zanzibar straight into the remote Northern Serengeti, where two days of game drives offer sightings of elephants, giraffes, zebras, lions and leopards, plus the chance to witness Great Migration herds near the Mara River, depending on the season. You then travel south through the changing landscapes of the Serengeti to Central Serengeti, famous for its resident wildlife and excellent predator viewing around Seronera, before descending into the UNESCO-listed Ngorongoro Crater, where a dense concentration of wildlife, and with luck the endangered black rhino, awaits. The journey ends with a night in the green farmland of Karatu and a transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport, with an optional complimentary visit to a traditional Maasai boma along the way, time permitting.
